The hulls have been turned over and set up accurately level and parallel, securely supported in cradles.
The blue line on the side of the hull is a marker for the underside of the bridgedeck, used to align a rail glued to the side of the hull. The mast bulkhead is installed between the bulkhead horns projecting from the hulls. Beams are notched into the rails and span between the hulls. Plywood sheets are glued to the beams and rails, both top and bottom, to form the bridgedeck floor.
The structure must be propped from below throughout this process to keep it level and true. The props must be left in place until the bridgedeck floor is self-supporting.

The curved bridgedeck front has been laminated in place from thinner plywood, also intalled over transverse beams. The bridgedeck bulkheads have been fitted, as well as the longitudinal divisions forward of the mast bulkhead. All of the structure on top of the bridgedeck is epoxy filletted to the bridgedeck, with glass rainforcement as well to all fillets of the mast bulkhead.

Triangular cleats and frames glued to hull and bridgedeck to bond splayed panels. The curved portions of the cleats are formed from short lengths of timber.

The splay panels are boxed to form recesses into which the emergency escape hatches will be fitted. The pipe is a PVC drainpipe, used as a conduit for services to run inside the splay.
